EXPERIENCE:

Ms. Cotten began her teaching career at Tanner High School teaching elementary ESL classes. She continued teaching ESL in the county for eight years. She has been teaching 2nd grade at Cedar Hill Elementary for 8 years.

BIO:

Amy Cotten resides in Athens, Alabama. She has a miniature dachshund named Sophie. Ms. Cotten graduated from Athens High School in 1991 and attended the University of North Alabama where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. Shortly after graduating from UNA, she attended UAH where she received her Teaching English to Students of Other Languages certificate. Later, she received her Master's degree in Elementary Education from UNA.
