Montgomery, AL—April 17, 2013— The Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute (ACRI) and the Subcontractors Association of Alabama (SubAla) are recognizing an outstanding career and technical education teacher and program for this year’s “Alabama Skilled Trades Week” (April 22-26).

The Go Build Alabama Career Technical Education Teacher Award goes to Michael Clem, an HVAC instructor at Limestone County Career Technical Center. He has been a teacher for 32 year and his peers have called his HVAC program the best of its kind in the state of Alabama. He has also had three students win first place at the national SkillsUSA competition.
