Bio

Hello!  My name is Heather Crawford.  I graduated in May of 2007 from Athens State University with a degree in elementary education.  I am certified to teach K-6, and I am also qualified to teach reading in grades seven through twelve.  Before teaching at Cedar Hill, I taught seventh grade English at East Limestone High School.  That was a temporary position, so I was very thankful when I was offered a fifth-grade position at Cedar Hill.  I taught fifth-grade for two years, and this year I will be teaching kindergarten. Teaching is definitely my passion, and I am determined to find ways to reach each and every one of my students.  In addition to my degree in elementary education, I also hold an associate's degree in theatre arts from Calhoun Community College.  Theater is another significant interest of mine, and I enjoy incorporating dramatic skills as much as I can into my lessons.  I always try to make my students' learning experiences as fun as possible.  I am truly looking forward to another terrific year with the kindergarten students at Cedar Hill.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns.  My e-mail address is Heather.Crawford@lcsk12.org.  Have a great year!
